Gustav Blomberg is currently representing the Peace Institute at a Training Course for Living Library Organisers arranged by the Council of Europe and European Youth Centre Budapest. \u00c5land has two participants, the other one being Mikaela Kjeldsen from Regnb\u00e5gsfyren.
The Living Library works like a normal library \u2013 readers come and borrow a \u2018book\u2019 for a limited period of time. But in the Living Library the “books” are human beings, and the books and readers enter into a dialogue. The Books in the Living Library are people representing groups frequently confronted with prejudices and stereotypes, and who are often victims of discrimination, prejudice or social exclusion.
The aim is to promote dialogue, reduce prejudices and thereby encourage integration. <\/p>\n
