The \u00c5land Islands Peace Institute invited the public to discuss this question at the seminar &#8220;\u00c5land&#8217;s demilitarisation &#8211; self?evident or threatened?&#8221; where both the threats and opportunities of enhanced security cooperation were discussed.<br \/>Around 35 persons came together at the Handelsh\u00f6gskola in Mariehamn to participate in the seminar on Monday evening, March 30th &#8211; \u00c5land&#8217;s Demilitarisation Day.
