It is also preferable that you go with a ferry that takes you straight to Mariehamn if possible instead of going via Ecker\u00f6 or L\u00e5ngn\u00e4s.<\/p>\n<p>For connecting transport to the ferries from the airport you first have to go to Stockholms City Station (Cityterminalen) from where the buses leave. The fastest and the easiest way to get from the airport to the City Station is with the Arlanda Express train that take you from the airport to the City Station in 20 minutes. Arlanda Express is easy to find from the arrivals hall and you only have to follow the signs. There is also a bus transfer that takes you from the airport to the City Station in about 40 minutes. At the City Station there are both Viking Line and Silja Line offices where you can purchase your bus ticket to the harbor if you haven\u2019t purchased it together with the ferry ticket.<\/p>\n<p><b>From Finland<\/b><\/p>\n<p>By flight<\/p>\n<p>From Helsinki-Vantaa airport there are departures to Mariehamn every day, on Wednesdays and Thursdays there are up to four departures each day while on Saturdays there is usually only one departure. The flights last for about one hour. The departure times from Turku may be more comfortable and there are two departures per day, one in the morning and one in the evening. But with the later departure from Turku you arrive to L\u00e5ngn\u00e4s which is half an hour from Mariehamn.
