About 30 volontary mediators will discuss and listen to lectures on themes such as restorative justice, youth criminality and the controversial theme of mediation in cases of violence in close relationships.<br \/>The meeting is hosted by the \u00c5land mediation office that is run by the \u00c5land Islands Peace Institute.<br \/>Since 2006 the \u00c5land Islands Peace Institute offers mediation for criminal cases and certain disputes. The mediation is statutory and the State Administration of \u00c5land purchases the mediation service from the Peace Institute.
