The workshop is the result of cooperation between three research groups: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uma.es\/civicconstellation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Civic Constellation II: Debating Democracy and Rights<\/a>, led by Professor Jos\u00e9 Maria Rosales, University of M\u00e1laga, Spain; Research project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jyu.fi\/trace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transformations of Concepts and Institutions in the European Polity (TRACE)<\/a>, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 university and Research project <a href=\"en\/research\/research-projects\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Demilitarisation in an increasingly militarised world<\/a>, The \u00c5land Islands Peace Institute.<\/p>\n<p>Saila Heinikoski presented a paper entitled Non-Alignment and Demilitarisation \u2013 What Do These Concepts Mean in Today\u2019s World?
