The anniversary is marked with a new publication entitled \u201c20 Years of Dealing with Diversity: Is the Framework Convention at a Cross-Road?\u201d, published by the European Centre for Minority Issues.<\/p>\n<p>Our Head of Research, Sia Spiliopoulou \u00c5kermark, contributed to the publication as an expert of minority issues and as former president of the Advisory Committee of the Framework Convention. She was interviewed to analytically and critically reflect upon the Framework Convention\u2019s contribution until now.<\/p>\n<p>Sia Spiliopoulou \u00c5kermark highlighted the achievement of the FCNM as a legally binding link between the accommodation of minorities and human rights.
