He is specialised in Russian foreign policy and Eurasian international relations. During his time on \u00c5land in autumn 2021, Ivan has exchanged insights and contributed to the work of the Peace Institute. He has also held a research seminar and worked on his doctoral thesis, that is about paradiplomacy and conflict, with case studies from the North Caucasus autonomous republics (Russia).<\/p>\n<p>The \u00c5land Islands Peace Fund has been established by the \u00c5land Islands Peace Institute with the purpose of supporting peace work.
