In 1995, the Peace Institute moved into Villa du Nord on \u00c5landsv\u00e4gen. Ten years later it was time to move to the &#8220;County Council House&#8221; at the corner of Hamngatan- Storagatan, a house that the Peace Institute received as a gift from the \u00c5land Government on its 20th anniversary in 2012. Today the house is owned by the Peace Institute&#8217;s subsidiary Fredsfast.
