The ”Åland example” in Berlin
Researcher at the Peace Institute Sarah Stephan has presented Åland and the Åland example in Berlin as part of a series of events arranged by the Finland Institute.
Questions of the special status of Åland under public international law, its demilitarisation, neutralisation, and language protection were discussed, as well as the applicability of the Åland example to conflicts in other areas.
