From November 2010 the Åland Islands Peace Institute has a new Head of Administration – Bror Myllykoski. In addition to his administrative tasks Bror Myllykoski is responsible for conflict management and peace education in school environments.
Bror has previously worked at Föreningen Norden på Åland r.f. where he worked as a director. Prior to that Bror worked for a long time in the public sector, initially in Mariehamn which includes youth workers, youth and sports secretary instructor. He then moved on to the municipality of
Finström where he served as recreation director, with responsibility for particular leisure, tourism and economic affairs.
Bror has a physical instructor and youth secretarial degree from Solvalla Sports Institute – Institute of physical education. Bror is also active in different sports associations. His big interest in sports and swimming mainly occupies much of his spare time. Bror speaks Swedish and some English and Finnish.
