In an open seminar organized by the Åland Islands Peace Institute Lars Ingelstam presented the report “Peace, security, defense. Shift of focus in Swedish politics”,written by himself and Anders Mellbourn within the network Partnership 2014. Ingelstam and Mellbourn both visited the Åland Islands Peace Institute for ameeting with Director Sia Spiliopoulou Åkermark and Information Officer Susann Simolin to discusse the work of the Partnership and the Peace Institute’s efforts to create spaces for discussion on the approaches to peace in the Nordic countries separately as well as within the Nordic co-operation, including through the project “Norden for Peace?’.
Anders Mellbourn also held a lecture on conditions and opportunities for journalism and media in a time where information is easily accessible to everyone on the Internet on a lunch meeting for Åland journalists at the Consulate General of Sweden on Åland. The meeting was arranged by the Consulate General of Sweden on Åland and the Åland association for journalists.
