On January 8 – 9 the Peace Institute’s project manager and researcher Sarah Stephan participated in Finland’s youth fair Nuori2013/Ung2013 in Jyväskylä as a panelist for the International Centre for Mobility’s (CIMO) panel on the cooperation within the Youth in Action Programme with countries outside Europe. Sarah shared her experiences in coordinating and working with a number of such projects including training courses well as European Voluntary Service projects with partners from Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Ung2013 was organized by the Finnish Youth Council Allianssi, The Lutheran Church of Finland, the National Workshop Association and the Finnish Youth Research Society. Around 2000 participants visited the fair, among them representatives of youth organizations and municipal youth workers from across the county.
