International organization for migration (IOM) Vilnius office has in co-operation with the Åland Islands Peace Institute published a method manual on the girl group method. The manual “Girls, gender equality and democracy” is written by Mia Hanström and has been translated into Russian and modified according the experience of empowerment sessions with vulnerable girl groups in Kaliningrad Oblast. The manual was released and presented on June 10th 2010 in Kaliningrad.
