Petra Granholm is a new employee at the Åland Islands Peace Institute from 1 February 2015.
Petra holds a master in political science from Åbo Akademi University, Finland and a master in resource management from the University of Akureyri, Iceland. She has previously worked for the Åland Islands Peace Institute as a researcher, focusing on the rights of indigenous people and national minorities. Her most recent employer was the Government of Åland, where she worked with issues concerning the environmental and fisheries in the Baltic Sea. Her comeback at the Peace Institute will entail acting as an instructor for the brand new e-course “Territorial Autonomy as a Tool for Diversity Manageemnt. Lessons from the Åland example”.
