Thursday 28th of May the exhibition Outpost, land in between, bridge was opened at the Åland museum/the Åland Art museum. Speakers were Swedish author Herman Lindqvist, Finnish prime minister Matti Vanhanen, Swedish secretary of state concerning Nordic issues Johan Tiedemann and the Head of the Åland Government Viveka Eriksson.
the audience amounted to 383 persons.
The exhibition is arranged in commemoration of the memorable years of 1808-1809 and interprets the development of the Ålandic society and identity since 1809. It can be seen in the Åland Art Museum 29.5-6.9.2009
