Ulrika Navier is our new project assistant

Since the end of April Ulrika Navier is responsible for education of girl- and boy group leaders within the project “Challenging Gender Roles for Prevention of Trafficking”. she is substituting JustinaDonielaite who is on parental leave.Ulrika has a bachelors degree in gender research from the University of Uppsala. In parrallell with the work at the Peace Institute she is studying for a masters degree in political science in Uppsala. The Nordic Forum for Security policy 2010
The nations around the Baltic Sea are increasingly using the same language when discussing security policy, but there are still differences in what threats are percieved and confidence between countries still needs to be strenghtened. Those where some of the conclusions from this year’s Nordic Forum for Security Policy, which was organized in St Petersburg, Russia in the end of april. The Nordic Forum for Security gathered in 2010 under the heading Freedom, Security and Justice – Common interests in the Baltic Sea Region. Bror Myllykoski new project manager

Bror Myllykoski is since the end of April responsible for conflict management and peace education in school environments and also works with personnel issues.Bror comes from the Föreningen Norden på Åland r.f. where he worked as a director.Prior to that Bror worked for a long time in the public sector, initially in Mariehamn which includes youth workers, youth and sports secretary instructor. He then moved on to the municipality of Finström where he served as recreation director, with responsibility for particular leisure, tourism and economic affairs.Bror has a physical instructor and youth secretarial degree from Solvalla Sports Institute – Institute of physical education.
