Closing seminar for Fair Sex project

On the 28th of November a closing seminar for the project Fair Sex 2012 will be arranged in the Åland Parliament building between 2.30 and 4.30 p.m. The seminar will be held in Swedish and further information about the seminar can be found in the Swedish version of this page.

The ÅIPI has, by request of the high school health services and financed by the Government of Åland, developed and run workshops about Fair Sex. The workshops have been offered to all grade two upper secondary school students. The purpose of the Fair Sex workshops is to encourage discussions about sex and relationships, reciprocity, respect and equality, in order to prevent sexual violence and to promote positive sexual experiences among youth.

In 2012 workshops for students are complemented with educational sessions for for all teachers in upper secondary and hith schools on Åland on issues such as gender inequality, violation of boundaries and sexual harassment and how to spot it and stop it.
