Starting in December, Liz Lindvall will work as Information Officer at the Åland Islands Peace Institute all through 2021, as replacement for Susann Simolin who will be on a leave of absence for her PhD-studies.
Liz has perviously worked – among others – as a journalist at the newspaper Ålandstidningen and as a freelance journalist. She is also well experienced in digital marketing, copywriting and translating from Swedish to English.
Liz has spent many years abroad, mostly in Catalonia, Spain and has now, together with her family, returned now to Åland where she was born and raised.
Liz herself says that she is eager to start her work at the Institute, especially as she will have the opportunity to use her writing skills and experience in using different canals of communication to tell about the important work done at the Peace Institute. Liz says she has always had keen interest in societal issues, and she is happy to be able to work together with engaged and skillful colleges with issues that are very important and meaningful for her.
The Peace Institute warmly welcomes Liz Lindvall.
