In a time when the cities grow and the digital development advances with giant steps, small societies get into trouble. In the light of such trends and from an economic perspective, what are the prospects for the Ålandic economy and for the Ålandic autonomy legislation?
Edvard Johansson is Doctor of Economic Sciences from the Hanken School of Economics and Associate Professor in Economics at the Åbo Akademi University. He is a previous Rector of the Åland University of Applied Sciences. His presentation is based on economic research about amongst other things globalisation and digitalisation as well as still unpublished results about the Ålandic economy in relation to the Finnish one.
The seminar is held in Swedish. Lunch can be bought in the restaurant and taken to the seminar held in the southern part of the restaurant. The seminar will start at 11.30 and will last an hour.
