On friday the 24th of October everybody interested in Bosnia or in the general activities of the Peace Institute is welcome to the Institutes' localities at Hamngatan 4 between 15 and 17h.
The exhibition Bullet Holes and Satellite Dishes – Bosnia Herzegovina 2002, that was shown in the Library of Mariehamn in 2002 will now be exhibited again in a slightly different format. Some of the oroginal text have been replaced by new material updating the reader on the situation in Bosnia from the war of 1992-1995 until today. The new texts are written by the researcher Anna-Lena Sjölund.
The photographer is David Lundberg, originally from Åland but now working in Stockholm, Sweden as a free-lance photographer. The original texts are written by Kristina Sehlin Mac Neil, former Information Officer of the Peace Institute, now working at the University of Umeå in Sweden.
The exhibition can be seen in the localities of the Peace Institute also during next week, 27th-29th October between 15 and 17h.
