The Kastelholm Talks on Peace 2024 will be held on March 21 and celebrate 10 years. In connection with the anniversary, we are looking ahead and connecting generations.
This year’s theme is: “The future and us”
How do we think and talk about the future today? Are there differences between generations in the way we think about the future? What are the pitfalls we should be aware of when thinking about the future? Are there alternatives to dystopian future scenarios? Are war, economic and ecological collapse the only options? What are the hopeful trends?
The Kastelholm Talks on Peace are regular peace-themed talks under the patronage of former Finnish President Tarja Halonen and featuring prominent speakers. The talks are characterized by dialogue and reflection, rather than debate.
