A new board member has been elected to the Board of Directors of the ÅIPI, namely the Speaker of the Åland Parliament Mr Roger Nordlund. The former Swedish consul general on Åland, Mr Bertil Jobéus, did not put his name forward for re-election and was thanked for his efforts.
At the yearly meeting on the 19 April a new member of the Research Council of the ÅIPI was elected, Mr Mikael Wigell, Researcher at the Global Security research programme at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs.
