On Wednesday 13 November 2013 at 19.00 Peace Institute researcher Sarah Stephan will participate in a panel debate at the European Center for Culture and Debate in Belgrade organized by the Swedish NGO Global Reporting. The event is part of the series “Global Bars”. Global Bars are informal meeting places where people working with international issues meet to debate current events, exchange ideas and network. While Global Bars have been organized in Stockholm for ten year, this is the second time Global Reporting organizes a Global Bar in Belgrade. The panel debate will focus on minorities, autonomy and cultural heritage. Another panelist is Igor Stiks, researcher at Edinburg University and a local representative yet to be announced by the organization Cultural Heritage without Borders. On Thursday 14 November at 19.00 Sarah will give a lecture about the Åland Example at the Kolarac Endowment in Belgrade.
