On 11 October 2016 Dr Sia Spiliopoulou Åkermark had the opportunity to address the International Conference “The Framework Convention: a key tool to managing diversity through human rights” in the final panel entitled “Equality despite difference – how to guarantee equal access to rights and resources”. At the conference was launched the 4th Thematic Commentary on the Framework Convention on the Protection of Persons belonging to National Minorities on the scope of application of the convention.
