The Åland Islands Peace Institute has been granted 105.000 euro in state aid by the Foreign Ministry of Finland for the work with Regional Cooperation Nendre – Lessons learned. The main objective of the project is to promote capacity-building and development of democratic societies through cross-boarder co-operation between NGOs in Finland, Lithuania, Belarus and the Kaliningrad region (Russia).
